AfroMoon World General Terms and Conditions
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all agreements with and activities at AfroMoon World.
1.2 With the online registration and/or payment for a class, class package, membership, course, workshop or bootcamp, the client agrees with the Terms and Conditions of AfroMoon World.
1.3 AfroMoon World reserves the right to change or modify the Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions will be announced in advance via e-mail, website or social media outlet. The most recent version will be valid and this one will always be available for reading at the website.
2.1 When a client fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions, AfroMoon World reserves the right to refuse services to the client.
- PERSONAL DATA
3.1 The online/offline registration form needs to be filled in completely and truthfully.
3.2 AfroMoon World will collect the personal data for her client database and will keep this information strictly confidential.
3.3 AfroMoon World will occasionally use personal data to inform clients about events and other activities of AfroMoon World. If the client does not want to receive these e-mails, the client can unsubscribe by sending an e-mail to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org or by the email unsubscribe button.
4.1 Participation in classes, courses, workshops and bootcamps at AfroMoon World are fully at the clients’ own risk. By agreeing with the Terms and Conditions, the client declares that he/she is aware of the risk and accepts this. AfroMoon World is not liable for any injuries, damages or losses due to participation in a class, course, workshop or bootcamp. This is applicable for open training hours as well. If children are brought along, the responsibility for their safety and behavior lies completely with the parent/guardian.
4.2 All losses or damages to properties of AfroMoon World and/or the location holder, caused by the client will be the responsibility, financial as well, of the client at all times.
4.3 Because of hygienic reasons, the client has the obligation to keep the location untanished. Client will be held accountable should he/she create a mess at the premises. Appropriate behavior is expected while in and around any of our Buildings. As our studios are in a multi-tenanted, privately owned building, it is expected that our students and families are respectful of this. Please do not run, yell, fight, squirt water or leave mess etc. when attending or waiting for classes. The building manager makes the ultimate decision to refuse the right of entry in these circumstances
- CLASSES & MEMBERSHIPS
5.1 The client can attend classes when a class, class package or membership has been purchased.
5.2 The subscription of any class, class package, membership, course, workshop or bootcamp is completed when the payment of the class, class package or membership fee has been received by AfroMoon World.
5.3 Client cannot cancel any class. In case of being absence at classes, a no refund policy is adopted. In other words; the fee for any class, class package, membership, course, workshop or bootcamp cannot be refunded and the any class, class package, membership, course, workshop or bootcamp will be seen as a participated any class, class package, membership, course, workshop or bootcamp.
5.4 When the client arrives more than 20 minutes after the start of the class, the teacher has the right to refuse the client access to the class.
5.5 Single classes, class packages and memberships are personal and cannot be used or transferred to another person.
5.6 AfroMoon World will do everything within its power to let classes occur according to schedule. However classes might be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or if there are not enough participants. When this is the case, AfroMoon World will inform the client in advance and the class will be rescheduled. It will not be possible to receive any refunds.
5.7 Any photographs or videos taken at AfroMoon World may be used for the purpose of promoting the school from time to time.
5.8 ALL choreographies learnt at AfroMoon World is the intellectual property of AfroMoon World and is taught under contract and licence through other organisations and shall not be shared with the public without first gaining permission from the us AfroMoon World. Failure to respect this term will expose the client to financial liabilities.
- FEES, PAYMENTS & PRICE CHANGES
6.1 The client is obliged to pay the fee liable before the start of the (first) class. The client can pay using the online reservation system, which uses either iDeal or PayPal.
6.3 When a client doesn’t comply with the payment requirements, AfroMoon World may refuse services to the client and, if necessary, bring in a collection agency.
6.4 AfroMoon World has the right to change fees. Price changes will be announced in advance on the website and/or by e-mail. When prices will be adjusted, the client will get the opportunity to adjust or terminate his/her membership (even within the initial contract period) within a specific period of time.
- ABSENCE & VACATIONS
7.1 AfroMoon World may be closed on bank holidays and may have an adapted schedule in the holiday periods. This will not lead to a reduction or refund of membership fees. Adapted schedules and cancellations will be announced in advance on the website and/or by e-mail.
8. WORKSHOPS, COURSES & CAMPS
8.1 The client can participate in scheduled workshops, courses or camps by enrolling in advance at AfroMoon World and pay the required fee. Reservations for workshops can be made only online through the online reservation system at the website.
8.2 Cancellation of a reservation for a workshop, course or camp is not possible. When the payment has been made the reservation will be definite.
